Death Grips have been added to the Unsound Krakow lineup, performing their first continental Europe show in more than three years on October 21. This will also be their first-ever Polish appearance.
The band will perform at Łaźnia Nowa, a unique post-industrial space in the middle of Nowa Huta, a vast communist era suburb. Opening for Death Grips is Indonesia’s Senyawa, playing a mixture of traditional music and theatrical metal on DIY instruments, resulting in entirely new sounds.
These are just two of a wide spectrum of artists from around the world at Unsound 2016 including many discoveries and new names, as well as cross-border collaborations. Guiding programming is the Unsound philosophy: you don’t come to the festival to underline what you know, but discover.
Ticket to all individual events including the Death Grips concert go on sale on August 17th, when there will also be a final music program artist announcement. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter for the latest information.
