The first surprise acts were revealed last night during the opening party in the former cargo warehouse on Kamienna street, including Borusiade, B.Baran & Chino, Olivia, Paula Temple and Rabih Beaini. You can see the whole lineup and artists profiles here. We're going to reveal more Surprise names as the festival proceeds, and the artists appear on stage.
Today we also begin the extensive discussion program, with an artist talk between Rabih Beaini and Ghedalia Tazartes, two interesting figures from the experimental music scene. Later on, Paweł Kulczyński aka Wilhelm Bras will give a presentation on how to build synthesizers, and how an artist can achieve their own sound via DIY methods.
Only parts of tonight’s line up in the Manggha concert hall are revealed, with two unique figures in electronic/experimental music collaborating with other artists. Enigmatic French musician Ghédalia Tazartès will perform a live show with two unannounced artists, while a mysterious collaborator will join Rabih Beaini in a duo. Unexpect the expected with a couple more Surprise slots! Tickets are still available in our festival office and at the door.
Important info: the Morning Glory show at 11am tomorrow has been moved to Manggha Museum at 11am. Entrance is free. We guarantee it will be special and worth getting out of bed for.
Please also note that the Festival Office this year is located in the Muzeum Historyczne Miasta Krakowa, Rynek Główny 35 (entrance from Szczepańska 2 street). Opening hours: 12:00 - 18:00. You can exchange your pass for a wristband here, and also buy tickets to events here.
