Unsound Festival ends today, but at the time of this post’s publication we're still in the party mode, with Miles Whittaker of Demdike Stare taking over the second afterparty in 89, new club opened by Unsound and Forum Przestrzenie. You can still join the fun - and even catch a live show from Not Waving before the event ends at 2:30pm.

Right after the party we're moving to Teatr Nowy, where the final Dislocated Visions event presented with Krakow Photomonth takes place. Rabih Beaini will perform live, mixing the image and sound of films by renowned French filmmaker Vincent Moon. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Please note that this event is not included in the festival pass.

The final concert of the festival takes place in Krakow's Philharmonic Hall. Body Sculptures is a collaboration between artists from cult Danish and Swedish underground labels Posh Isolation and Northern Electronics. Featuring Varg, Erik Enocksson, Vit Fana and Loke Rahbek, this supergroup combines harrowing and beautiful sounds located on the fringes of industrial ambiance. In a special Unsound commission, they will be joined by Krakow’s Royal Orchestra Sinfonietta Cracovia, led by Ilan Volkov, the renowned Israeli conductor and curator of Tectonics festival. Opening is Kara-Lis Coverdale, a Canadian ex-church organist whose work explores the space between the human and the machine, with ethereal releases blurring acoustic and digital music in exciting ways. She performs with Marcel Weber aka MFO in a collaboration initiated during Unsound Toronto, to create a digital cemetery in which the show takes place. Also in some exciting last-minute news - Kara-Lis is set to join Body Sculptures on organ. Breaking the sets is a short solo show on violin from Volkov.

Slide out from the Unsound week with a legendary closing party. Unsound regulars include music writer and DJ Philip Sherburne, opening the night with a slowly building set, while Eltron John (as Marco) brings the vibes of Italo disco playing b2b with Krakow’s Kinzo (as Luca). Giegling label’s Edward will perform one of his krautrock-inspired live club sets, hotly tipped Israeli-Russian Berlin resident Dr. Rubinstein will spin acid, old rave tunes and more, while New York’s Veronica Vasicka – founder of Minimal Wave Records – is one of the most exciting DJs out there, her sets brimming with synth tunes from the past and present.

And that's it! See you next year and at one of our satellite events spread around the world! News coming soon.
