Levon Vincent is a veteran of the New York house scene. He started mixing music in the 90s, and has since become one of the most cherished underground DJs. He’s known not only for his uncompromising style and technical skills behind the decks, but also hard-hitting tracks released through Novel Sound, an outlet for his own productions. This year finally saw the release of his first longplay, an eponymous debut that is regarded as one of the finest albums of 2015. It's a lush, deep and highly melodic synth-driven house and techno opus, self-described as “music for the ugly ducklings of the world”, and has cemented his position as a truly singular artist.
