Unsound Adelaide to Return to Australia In November!

August 18, 2017

We’re thrilled to be able to announce that Unsound will return to Adelaide from 16 - 19 November. After successful iterations as part of the Adelaide Festival, the Unsound program has been expanded into a stand-alone event featuring performances, a talks program presented by The University of South Australia, a film score component, and sound and visual art installations. Events will take place in venues across Adelaide including the Therbarton Theatre and Botanic Gardens.

Unsound Adelaide’s 2017 incarnation will be presented by Random Harvest led by David Sefton, the former Adelaide Festival Artistic Director, Mat Schulz and Malgorzata Plysa, the co-directors of Unsound, and Insite Arts, who produce Tasmania’s MONA FOMA festival. Presenting partners will include the Thebarton Theatre, UniSA’s Hawke Centre, and the Botanic Gardens of South Australia.

A full line-up will be announced soon. For more information visit: unsoundadelaide.com, and in the meantime you can also sign up to the Unsound Adelaide 2017 Facebook event page.

Unsound Adelaide is supported by the South Australian State Government’s Live Music Events Fund. The Live Music Events Fund is administered by Events South Australia (via the South Australian Tourism Commission) and the Music Development Office (via Arts South Australia).
