Legendary Chicago group Phuture is widely recognized as the absolute pioneer of acid house sound, thanks to their 1987 track “Acid Tracks” based on the instantly recognizable squelch of the Roland TB-303. Subsequent releases on Traxx and Stricly Rhythm only cemented their position in the pantheon of dance music.

We would like to offer condolences to the family and friends of DJ Spank-Spank, who recently passed away. DJ Spank-Spank was set to play at the festival with DJ Pierre. We are pleased to to be able to confirm that Phuture will still play, with Angel Alanis filling in for Spank-Spank - no doubt it will be a very special show.
