Description
Do you know how old Unsound is? Can you name every city in which previous Unsound editions have taken place? Or maybe you just want to be on-stage live with Drumpilled? If any of these apply to you, or even if they don’t, get ready for The Intermission Quiz & Karaoke Afterparty this Sunday, after the Unsound programme ends. In the true spirit of Unsound, we are not letting distance get in the way, ready to have a strange, slightly chaotic night full of questions and silly songs together.
As a warm up, we’ll check your knowledge to find out if you really are the ultimate Unsound Fan. Just like with any good TV game show, you’ll have the chance to win an amazing award, such as an Unsound 2021 pass. Additional prizes will include the Unsound: Intermission book and album (more about those here), as well as a piece of surprise Unsound merch!
The Unsound Intermission Quiz 2020 is a game especially curated by tobha and Eddie Burns — but that’s not all!
Afterward, tobha and Eddie will also host a unique session of the infamous off-program Karaoke (usually it takes place in a crowded Krakow bar).
How will Unsound Intermission Karaoke work? There are two ways to be part of it this year: either send in a pre-recorded video, or perform live for us on Zoom!
For the pre-recorded video:
- Record yourself singing a song of your choice
- Send us your video-submission to [email protected] by 11:59 am CEST, Saturday (10.10)
- Tune in to Zoom on Sunday evening during the quiz — we will start right after the announcement of The Intermission Quiz winner!
Feel free to be inventive: use a Karaoke backing track / cheesy MIDI file, make us discover an artist from your country that we might not know, sing a song you have written yourself, lipsync, dress up, pimp the place where you sing with lights, decorations, plants, etc… the possibilities are truly endless if you allow them to be! :)
If you feel brave enough to perform karaoke live, please update your Zoom app to the latest version (5.3.1) on your computer for the best streaming quality.
Unsound Intermission Quiz 2020 & Unsound Karaoke are FREE and will take place on Zoom, but you need to register (link) to get the invitation. For the quiz, please download the Kahoot app (or use the browser version here). The PIN code for Kahoot will be announced by Eddy at the beginning of the Zoom session. We will start this night at 22:00 CEST sharp: please bring your dexterous minds along with your festival memories. Please be on time!
