Monolake
Monolake – otherwise known as Robert Henke - is a titan of electronic music, not only for his own productions, but his co-development of the music-creation software Ableton Live. This software has almost become the standard for the production and performance live of electronic and club music. Monolake represents the techno side of Henke’s work, which ranges towards the ambient an experimental. Restless as an innovator as well as music producers, Henke is constantly searching for new ways to create and perform music live. One of his latest developments as Monolake is the project Live Surround, which seeks to explore the myriad possibilities of performing club music using four channels to create a surround sound experience on the club floor. Henke will present this project at Unsound, along with visuals from the Dutch video artist .
