Mikrokolektyw is the project of drummer Kuba Suchar and trumpeter Artur Majewski, known mostly from their former band Robotobibok. The duo's inspiration comes, so they say, “from nature, technology, masters, families, African rhythms, European rhythms, no rhythm, colors, bicycles, motorbikes, eating vegetarian food, eating meat, being a dad, fishing, walking the dog, designing things.” They have performed and collaborated with Sao Paulo Undergroud (Rob Mazurek, Mauricio Takara, Richard Ribeiro), Layalloverit  (Jason Ajemian, Nori Tanaka), Exploding Star Orchestra, and Jason Ajemian.
