Michael Oster is an American sound designer, working with television, radio, corporate video and web-based media. Many of his albums are nature and urban recordings, but he also enjoys recording noise cut-ups and glitches. During Listening Stations, Michael will present his recording of the aftermath of Hurricane Frances in Tampa, Florida on 5th September 2004, originally released as “The Sound of a Dying Hurricane” album.
