We Will Fail is the musical alias of Aleksandra Grünholz, Warsaw-based graphic designer whose beautiful drawings adorn all three of her albums, including this year’s double LP “Hand That Heals / Hand That Bites”. Split between two sides, amorphous and meditative as well as rhythm-based and industrial, it’s a record that pushes her sound forward, making it cleaner, more detailed and spatious, while still utilising a mixture of field recordings and synthesis. Aleksandra will also take part in the Listening Stations project, presenting a travelogue, mixing sounds from Warsaw, Poznań and Wejherowo (featuring a really annoying neighbours dog) in Poland; Bucharest in Romania, Hague and Amsterdam in Netherlands; Lipsk adn Berlin in Germany; London in England as well as sounds from Siberia: Olchon Island and the Trans-Siberian Railway.
