Talk: How Can a Posthumanist Be?

October 17, 2016 - October 17, 2016 | Pałac Krzysztofory

Johannes Klabbers is a writer/therapist and a former experimental sound artist and ex-academic from Australia. He presents a performance using a method developed by John Cage in 1958, during which he will read texts on topics such as dislocation, death, life, history, loss, suffering, truth, beauty, love, and the possibility of a world without humans. Each reading is recorded and played back during each subsequent reading, creating layers of juxtaposed sounds, meanings, voices and noise. His book “I Am Here” is available at the Unsound office.
