Trees rigged up to the wireless heavens; a radio used to eavesdrop on Mars; a failed computer factory in the desert, slapping back into ruin. Media historian and artist Kristen Gallerneaux will share artifacts from her collections as a curator at The Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, fieldwork from “charged landscapes” and trace elements of the audible history of paranormal culture. Her forthcoming book, “High Static, Dead Lines”, will be published by Strange Attractor Press in 2017.
