Errorsmith

Errorsmith is an alias of Erik Wiegand, a German producer of electronic music and the creator of the Razor synth for Native Instruments. His knowledge of programming digital instruments translates to meticulously constructed music inspired by both academic electronics and African and Caribbean rhythms. He’s coming to Unsound Adelaide hot on the heels of his first album in 13 years, Superlative Fatigue for PAN. The music on it premiered last year at Unsound Kraków, is absolutely immediate and doesn’t sound like anything else out there, dazzling with incredible textures and complexity while never losing the sight off fun factor. He’s also known as one half of MMM, a duo formed with Berghain resident Fiedel. This is his first Australian show, exclusive to Adelaide.
