Their moniker, lovingly shortened to 703 by a lively online hive, has become synonymous with a sound that drifts between haunted ambience and crippling distortion. As inspired by My Bloody Valentine and Spacemen 3 as it is Fennesz and Merzbow, Gibson's music is beautifully powerful, a gauzy antidote to the wellness themed monotony of the Big Ambient set.
