Nikki Nair

An adaptable DJ as well as a prolific producer, Atlanta's Nikki Nair has gone from strength to strength over the last few years. Since 2018 he's released material on a staggering number of labels, dropping 12"s on Dirtybird, Gobstopper, Astrophonica, Banoffee Pies and others, and collaborating with artists like Sam Binga, DJ ADHD, Nala and Thys. Nair's style is hard to place; an intuitive listener and dedicated digger, he's trained himself to read the room, happy playing to heaving festivals or sweaty basements. And as a producer he's been able to balance the mutable, soundsystem-ruining bass sounds of the US Southeast with elements from the UK and beyond, winning DJ Mag's breakthrough North American producer of the year in 2022.
