A mad scientist whose chemistry set comprises the distilled essences of hundreds of divergent musical genres, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U needs to be seen to be believed. Since he debuted at DJ Nobu's FUTURE TERROR event he's become a regular fixture on clubland's lunatic fringes, regularly witnessed at Asian Dope Boys' durational performances and at Berlin's Atonal festival. His first mix compilation 'Midnight is Comin'' was released last year to wide acclaim, and features appearances from friends like YPY, CITY, Gabber Modus Operandi and Sapphire slows, but it really only scratches the surface. ¥UK1MAT$U is as likely to play Daft Punk or Moby as he is Duma or Shapednoise, boiling each element into brightly colored cosmic vapors.
