Remote Presence

October 16, 2016 - October 16, 2016 | ICE

The festival opening event features a unique collaboration initiated at Unsound Dislocation: Bishkek between legendary German dub techno pioneer Moritz von Oswald and Kyrgyz band Ordo Sakhna, fusing electronic and traditional music via improvisation. Beforehand, Russian-born Berlin residents Dasha Rush and Stanislav Glazov present the European premiere of “Dark Hearts of Space”, a multiscreen A/V performance exploring black holes developed at Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.

This event is presented with the Goethe-Institut Krakow. The collaboration between Moritz von Oswald and Ordo Sakhna was commissioned by Unsound and Goethe-Institut Almaty.
