Discussion: It's Too Late – AI Is Already An Artist

While the popular imagination is haunted by the vision of AI taking over, in reality machine intelligence sets out a unique field for collaboration, where humans and non-humans foster new relationships that will forever change the very distinction between them. Artistic practice is central to this process, allowing for novel experiments, aesthetics and critical inquiries. Following K Allado-Mcdowell’s performance, this panel digs into the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning, including transformers, reinforcement learning and generative adversarial networks to navigate us into the future that is already here. K will be joined by Aleksandra Przegalińska, a philosopher in the field of artificial intelligence, and Arek Flinik, co-founder of Lekta AI, a leading Polish company working on conversational AI.
