Invernomuto’s Palm Wine and Primitive Art’s Jim C. Nedd join forces for a short DJ set showcasing the sound of North Colombia’s picó soundsystem music. Picós carry a tradition of revolt against subjugation and the struggle of the dispossessed, their roots going back to the 60s. Their set accompanies the screening of the documentary “PICÓ: Un parlante de Africa en America”.
