Also known as DJ Shiva, Noncompliant is a DJ and producer from Indianapolis, finally making waves outside of Midwest, thanks to a new politically charged alias based in queerness and feminism. Describing her new project as one that is “about daring to be who you are instead of who others expect you to be, even when (and maybe especially when) being yourself is dangerous”, she creates a powerful yet bouncy blend of techno music, championed by none other than The Black Madonna.
