Sylwia Chutnik

Born in 1979 in Warsaw, Sylwia Chutnik is a graduate of Cultural Studies and Gender Studies at the Warsaw University. A writer, publicist and social activist, she was a lecturer at the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw and at the Writing Machine – the school of Writing. She has also been a columnist for Polish magazines Polityka, Pani, Wysokie Obcasy, Gazeta Stołeczna, as well as numerous websites. She has worked as a co-host of the literary programs Cappuccino with a book and Forgotten – recovered for TVP Kultura, and is currently co-organizing Barłóg literacki on YouTube. Her texts have appeared in scores of anthologies, as well as catalogs for exhibitions of contemporary art and theater programs. She is also the curator of Apostrophe - International Literary Festival and OFF Literary Cafe.
