Radek Sirko

Radek Sirko is a sound artist, music producer, culture expert, curator, and lecturer. Co-founder of the Aural Prism and Audile Snow labels and author of the Pogłos/Reverberation film, Sirko performs and publishes under the Duy Gebord moniker. He has a PhD in art and works as an assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and lectures at the Katowice School of Information Technology. He regularly runs sonic workshops and lectures on music and sound, and also collaborates with the socio-educational project Department of Sound Katowice, Glissando magazine, and the Oramics platform. Sirko photographs concrete statues and socialist-modernist architecture and enjoys old Polish adventure games. He is an alumnus of University of Fine Arts in Poznań, Jagiellonian University, University of Silesia in Katowice, and University of Warsaw.
