Colin Self’s ethos is not DIY, but Do It Together. The American artist is well known as a member of Holly Herndon’s ensemble, runs Xhoir - a vocal workshop for group singing and listening - writes operettas, and is a member of the drag supergroup Chez Deep. His upcoming album for RVNG is called Siblings. It’s the final part of his Elation operetta project, performed with humor and drama. For the European premiere of this music, Colin will perform with a Polish trio of string players, including Resina, Julia Zietek and Maria Tomala.
