Eris Drew is a resident of Chicago’s Smart Bar and co-founder of Hugo Ball, the club’s polysexual party inspired by the Dada movement. Falling in love with classic rave over 20 years ago, she’s a DJ, musician and trans mystic, playing intensely rhythmic, euphoric and unique sets. She also gives lectures on electronic music history, focusing on marginalized voices, and works as a mentor for aspiring DJs.
