Phill Niblock is an American minimalist composer and founder of Experimental Intermedia, a foundation for avant-garde music based in New York. Known for his thick, loud drones of music, Niblock’s signature sound is filled with microtones of instrumental timbres that generate many other tones in the performance space. Celebrating his 85th birthday, Phill will freeze time in The Secret Lodge - previously 89 - during the Saturday club night craziness upstairs in Hotel Forum.
