Artist Jenna Sutela works with words, sounds and other living materials. She will share her ongoing investigation into biological and computational systems, including nimiia cétiï, an experiment in machine learning and interspecies communication. It documents the interactions between a neural network, audio recordings of early Martian language, and footage of the movements of extremophilic bacteria.
