Panoptykon Foundation is the only NGO in Poland keeping an eye on those who collect and use personal data in order to influence: public authorities and business corporations. This workshop explores the ways personal data has become a new currency and effective instrument of power, with algorithms feeding on the digital traces we leave on the web, analysing our vulnerabilities to create profiles, patterns, anomalies and predictions.
