Louis Center and Cory Levinson present two short talks on music infrastructure. Center will analyse how the platform internet has disempowered and disenfranchised creative communities both online and offline, and whether peer-to-peer networks can offer new cooperative opportunities. Levinson will examine how new technologies give way to a redefinition of roles and forms of agency within a music landscape, a topic being explored by PAN. Concluding is an overview of their AS WiFi project, developed in collaboration with Amnesia Scanner, accessible during their Hotel Forum performance.
