Diana Azzuz b2b Rina Priduvalova
Ukranian-Syrian DJ, producer and visual artist Diana Azzuz allows her diverse background and academic cultural studies to guide her musical experimentation. On her debut EP "Anastrophe", released on Ukrainian label Standard Deviation, she wanted to challenge notions of sound by flipping our preconceptions, using AI tools to highlight sonic contradictions that depict the uncertainty and fluidity of life in the digital age. Her latest release is "Sui Noxa", a collaboration with fellow Ukrainian Rina Priduvalova who will be performing alongside Azzuz at this year's Unsound.
An interdisciplinary artist and DJ from Kyiv, Rina Priduvalova burst onto the scene with 2019's disorienting "The Tears of Things", released on Spanish label xenonyms. A hallucinatory fusion of experimental electronics and elegiac ambience, it barely prepares you for what Priduvalova offers as a DJ, where she bounces freely from tweaked hardstyle and wonky psytrance into euphoric pop and toothsome industrial techno.
