Produced by Unsound, the second edition of Warsaw’s multi arts festival Ephemera takes place in a city emerging from multiple pandemic lockdowns, bringing audiences and communities back together in physical spaces. With a focus on performance, Ephemera will continue to build a close connection with Warsaw’s cultural scene, engaging city institutions, artists and cultural activists, to create a compact multi-layered program tapping into the city’s vibrancy, blending the local with the international.

infinity o’clock live, presented with Nowy Teatr

In the first year of the pandemic, Unsound created a 6-hour show called o’clock (infinity o’clock), involving the visual work of Irish artist and filmmaker DAVID OREILLY and six musicians performing music. The piece was repeated three times, to create a 24-hour stream. Now o’clock live will be presented for the first time as a 6-hour live show with an audience sharing the experience collectively, with OReilly’s visuals projected on a large scale. KMRU, FELICIA ATKINSON and EARTHTRAX were all involved in the original presentation, and will perform alongside Poland’s ALEKSANDRA SŁYŻ and Russian artist PERILA. Another artist will be announced soon.

Taking place across two stages, Ephemera will take over Warsaw’s Lunapark for this special event, where we will bring in our own heavy sound system and scenography. Flipping the switch on the usual night rave, the fun starts in the late summer afternoon until 11pm, showcasing euphoric dance music from Poland, the US and UK, with a strong focus on queer artists. The lineup includes LORAINE JAMES, AYA, JULIANA HUXTABLE, OCTO OCTA, YOUNG MAJLI  and DOGHEADSURIGERI. Representing Warsaw is AVTOMAT, who is also a co-curator of this event.
