Born in 1969, East Berlin. Stages of life: wrestler (Greco-Roman), provincial punk, art historian, curator, compiler, sub-label operator (Edition Iron Curtain Radio), author, DJ/dub mixer (Al-Haca Sound System), publisher (since 1993: Zonic – Kulturelle Randstandsblicke & Involvierungsmomente; since 2006: various Zonic special editions). Latest publications: Warschauer Punk Pakt. Punk im Ostblock 1977-1989 (2018/2023), Magnetizdat DDR. Magnetbanduntergrund Ost 1979-1990 (2023), Power from the Eastside! Jugendradio DT64 – Massenmedium und Massenbewegung (2024), Unearthing the Music (2025). Since 2009 in Leipzig as co-organiser of the Kulturny Dom Lipsk/Salon Similde and promoter of Neue Sorbische Kunst.
