Visible Cloaks feat. Hashtag Ensemble (WARSZAWA)

Regularly paying homage to Japanese city pop, folk sounds and, most importantly, Kankyō Ongaku soundscapes, Ryan Carlile and Spencer Doran have been crucial in re-introducing these sounds into the contemporary underground lexicon, not least via their brilliant 'Fairlights, Mallets and Bamboo' mixtape. And on their latest album 'Paradessence', they continue to build a parallel future from forgotten traces of the past, inviting trailblazing Japanese ambient pioneers Yoshio Ojima and Satsuki Shibano along for the ride.
