DISCUSSION: WEBS OF COLLABORATION

Experimental and electronic music are often thought of as a solo endeavour, but some of the most dynamic and surprising work often comes from collaboration – whether one-offs or enduring, full ‘band’ projects. Participating in this discussion of collective creativity ahead of their shows at Unsound: Abudllah Miniawy, whose latest work pairs him with jazz trombonists and other guests; Daniel Martin-McCormick, of DC hardcore vets Black Eyes and new duo Cry, with Kilbourne; and Aleksandra Słyż, whose new project GHSTING, created with Siksa’s Alex Freiheit, includes theater, spoken-word and performance.
