Introspekt

Now based in Brooklyn, Introspekt cut her teeth on the Los Angeles club scene, developing a bass-heavy sound that re-contextualized the roots of dubstep, firmly establishing an ongoing back-and-forth between the wider global continuum. And on her debut album 'Moving the Center', released earlier this year on London's legendary Tempa imprint, she makes those connections even more vivid, merging the Black diaspora and contrasting vintage dubstep heaviness with femme physicality and ballroom, East Coast club and garage rhythms.
