If you're an Unsound regular, you'll need no introduction to Chuquimamani-Condori (aka Elysia Crampton and E+E), the singular California-based artist who's spent the last couple of decades bending and breaking cultural boundaries, infusing Aymara concepts and Andean musics into their eclectic patchworks of pop, noise, folk and ambient. And earlier this year, they teamed up with their brother and longtime collaborator Joshua Chuquimia Crampton to craft their most potent statement to date; as Los Thuthanaka, the duo expand the dense, psychedelic landscape of 2023's 'DJ E', machine-gunning DJ tags, samples and ad-libs over trance-y rhythms and dizzying keytar riffs.
