Earlier this year, Polish eccentric Szymon Sapalski, aka paszka, made her LOM debut with 'estoy chillando', a perplexingly described "non-ambient album for ambient listening in its original sense." What does this mean, exactly? Well, paszka wants to encourage a certain level of passive listening, without resorting to overdone contemporary Big Ambient tropes. And it's eerily fascinating, emotionally ambivalent material, the perfect way to follow her glitchy bluescreen-pop defragmentation 'lapton' and its maximalist predecessor 'Gluon'.
