Since releasing their breakthrough 12" 'Bliss / Swivel' in 2021, Tommy Paslaski (aka Concave Reflection), Ben Paulson (aka kindtree) and Akeem Asani (aka Millia) have hovered between the dancefloor and the afterparty, shifting seamlessly between dub techno, jazz, ambient and post-rock. And following a move from Chicago to New York City, the trio integrate even more live instrumentation on their latest album 'Faith', playing guitar and bass alongside lysergic pads and hollowed-out 4/4 pulses. Described as putting a "contemporary spin on Y2K ambient music" by Pitchfork, it's music that matches the headiness of Wolfgang Voigt with the languid, cinematic dustiness of Labradford - it's gorgeous, basically.
