Simo Cell b2b Nono Gigsta

With a slew of percussive, paradigm-challenging releases under his belt for cult labels like Livity Sound, Wisdom Teeth and The Trilogy Tapes, as well as his own TemeT imprint, Simo Cell, aka French DJ and producer Simon Aussel, is one of bass music's most unpredictable figures. His last album, 2023's atmospheric 'Cuspide Des Sirènes' was released alongside a playable Game Boy game, and on this year's 'FL Louis EP', he rethinks the logic of French touch and bloghouse, turning Daft Punk and Ed Banger's tweaky, filtered productions into soundsystem-baiting peak time mayhem. He'll be appearing in a special back to back session with Berlin-based Belgian DJ, producer, promoter, radio host and zine maker Nono Gigsta, whose precise but eclectic shows have been featured on Cashmere Radio and in regular installments at Neukölln's beloved Sameheads venue.
