Tomasz Thun-Janowski

Polish philologist, theatrologist, and (almost) philosopher. An expert in communication and former head of the TR Warszawa theatre and the Warsaw Culture Office, Thun-Janowski has also worked at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Since 2022, he has been active in the humanitarian aid and human rights sector (with the Danish Refugee Council and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights). He is involved in civic movements related to culture and human rights, and since the beginning of the crisis has been providing humanitarian aid at the Polish–Belarusian border.
