AFTERNOON GLORY 1

Alongside the morning shows, this year we’re making use of the former medical lecture hall on ul. Kopernika for two Afternoon Glory sessions on the main Unsound weekend. The first of these features Brìghde Chaimbeul, the Scottish smallpipes bagpipe player and Celtic experimentalist. Chaimbeul just released her album Sunwise, following on from the Colin Stetson-produced Carry Them With Us. Fun fact: Chaimbeul is also responsible for the bagpipe you hear on Caroline Polachek’s Blood and Butter.
