After a jaw-dropping Morning Glory performance last year, Japanese visionary FUJI​|||||||||||TA returns to Unsound with a different project, joining forces with New York sound artist and composer Ka Baird for a new Unsound commission that explores the sonic movement of air and breath via pressure, texture and rhythm. After presenting the work at Unsound Osaka, tonight the duo will perform Where Does Fire End? for the first time in Europe. Following is Concrète Waves, the new collaboration between Suzanne Ciani – dubbed “America's first female synth hero” by The Guardian – and idiosyncratic UK producer Actress, whose dubby avant-techno evolutions have existed in their own ecosystem since 2008’s Hazyville.
