Polish guitarist Artur Rumiński opens the second night of Unsound; best known from his involvement in black metal bands like Furia and Thaw, he’ll present his solo ambient compositions for electronics. Following, Egyptian expressionist Abdullah Miniawy presents his new album Peacock dreams أَحْلَامُ الطَّاوُوسِ as a trio with his voice and two trombonists: Robinson Khoury and Jules Boittin. Miniawy, who is also an actor, is known for his passionate and expressive performances, promising a transcendental experience. 

Fun fact: not only did Unsound put on the first-ever Raime show in 2010, we also presented Raime’s premiere performance with Valentina Magaletti. Now, Magaletti, Tim Halstead and Joe Andrews return in all their glory as Moin, augmenting post-hardcore punk and jazz with samples and electronics. Sounding “as much like techno as it does Fugazi,” according to Pitchfork, Moin promises an electrifying live performance.
