The beloved Unsound Morning Glory series returns to the 19th-century medical auditorium of ul. Kopernika 15, where the A/V show is provided by the universe, God, or maybe we can just call it The Sun. Opening the Wednesday morning is French guitarist Nina Garcia. On this year’s Bye Bye Bird – released on Stephen O’Malley’s Ideologic Organ label – Garcia pushes the electric guitar to the limit, teasing out textures, feedback and pulses, displaying a mastery of dynamics. Live, this music is even more compelling, and will certainly wake up anyone who’s not yet had their morning coffee. Free of charge – first come, first seated.
