WORKSHOP: STITCHING THE TROUBLE

This beginner-friendly workshop with Ada Omylak (initiator of the Revolutionary Housewives Circle) invites participants to gather around collective embroidery as a way of weaving networks of support. Drawing on Donna Haraway’s idea of “staying with the trouble,” thread will be used both as material and metaphor: each participant will embroider words and slogans connected to solidarity, better futures, and political demands onto a shared translucent fabric. These fragments will interlace into a larger, unfinished web – a work in progress symbolizing both interdependence and the ongoing work of building communities and struggles for justice.
