Unsound Adelaide Returns to Australia From 11–12 July

Unsound will again make its way Down Under for the only edition of the festival to take place in the Southern Hemisphere. This year the two-day festival takes place across three new venues.
On Friday July 11, the marathon event at Lion Arts Factory features sets from improvisational noise duo Yellow Swans, the astonishing LOS THUTHANAKA by sibling duo Chuquimamani-Condori and Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, aya with her fusion of experimental, club, pop and punk, and percussionist Valentina Magaletti with Afro-Portuguese beat-maker Nídia. From midnight, the venue morphs into the Unsound Club, featuring DJ sets from Nídia, Raime, and DJ PGZ.
The adventure continues on Saturday at Hindley Street Music Hall with pioneering musician, producer and founding member of The Velvet Underground John Cale, revered electronic musician Wolfgang Voigt presenting GAS live, and the rapidly rising band Moin featuring members of Raime and Valentina Magaletti.
Plus, a Closing Night Party at Ancient World featuring DJ sets from DJ E (Chuquimamani-Condori), aya, and Adelaide artists Strict Face, SKORPION KING and Bibbe Zee.
