A discussion exploring the legacy of the late writer, theorist and cultural commentator Mark Fisher, who died earlier this year. Fisher's writing from the mid-2000’s onwards traversed politics, philosophy, music and film, outlining incendiary connections between late capitalism and culture as a whole. His writings on electronic sound, science fiction, post-punk and protest are among the most influential in contemporary thought. This panel of associates, collaborators and those who knew him will attempt to discuss his ideas of sound, haunting and the uncanny in a new era of political turmoil.
