For the first time ever, Unsound presents a show in the glorious Słowacki Theatre. The festival kicks off with a commissioned project developed as part of Unsound Dislocation: Lviv. Cult Polish band Księżyc, Ukrainian singer and multi-instrumentalist Svitlana Nianio, and Małe Instrumenty’s Paweł Romańczuk will explore Slavic folk, minimalism and avant-garde theatre. Opening with a rare live show is the UK’s Richard Skelton, whose powerful ambient music is inspired by nature. He premieres a new ambitious work at Unsound, created in response to the wild mountain landscapes of East Iceland.
