Artist Talk: Underground Resistance
17 Oct | 17:15

When it comes to culture jamming and interference, there are few in dance music who can compare to Underground Resistance, both in terms of their political agenda and the longevity. In discussion with Wire’s Jennifer Lucy Allan, Cornelius Harris and other UR members discuss the birth of UR in Detroit in the wake of Reagan-era inner-city decline, social activism, their DIY business philosophy – and, of course, the music itself.
