Joe Talia is an Australian drummer, percussionist and electro-acoustic performer based in Melbourne. Also based in Melbourne, James Rushford is a composer, pianist, violist and improviser. Together they create music drawing on strategies from both contemporary composition and improvisation, and have released two albums. They appear at Unsound on the Bocian Records showcase, as well as members of the group Oren Ambarchi has put together to present his piece "Knots".
